Introduction

Snapcell Inc formally Snapcell LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the www.snapcell.us.com website and the Snapcell Application (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at www.snapcell.us.com

Sharing of Personal Information

Other than as outlined below in this policy (for example where we use third party service providers), we will not disclose your personal data. We will not share your phone number. However, we may disclose your information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • If we are under a legal or regulatory obligation to do so
  • In response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
  • If we believe your use of our websites & Services has or may violate any law, regulation or our Terms of Use

Snapcell Inc will remain responsible and liable for any data, its security and its usage to ensure your privacy and rights are respected.


Access Requests by Public Authorities

  • a. In order to provide transparency in respect of lawful requests by public authorities to access personal information, SnapCell may voluntarily issue periodic transparency reports on the number of requests for personal information they receive by public authorities for law enforcement or national security reasons, to the extent such disclosures are permissible under applicable law.
  • b. The information provided by SnapCell in these reports together with information that has been released by the intelligence community, along with other information, can be used to inform the annual joint review of the functioning of the Privacy Shield in accordance with the Principles.
  • c. Absence of notice in accordance with point “a.” shall not prevent or impair SnapCell’s ability to respond to any lawful request.


Choices and means for individuals to limit the use and disclosure of personal data

SnapCell users may fully delete their account at any point by making a request to support@snapcell.us.com. The account and all associated personal data will be fully removed from our servers within 48 hours.

 


Information Collection and Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address, name, phone number, postal address (“Personal Information”).
We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, and improving our services.

Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).

It may in some circumstances be possible to provide some services, by limiting the use and disclosure of your personal data further, if you would like to see if this is possible for any reason, please contact us using the contact details below, and we will advise you if we are able to limit the use or disclosure and provided the relevant service.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of Nov 28, 2018 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

Snapcell complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. Snapcell has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov/

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Snapcell commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information.  EU individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should first contact Snapcell at:

Snapcell is  subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

SMS Messaging Policy

SnapCell support for STOP, BLOCK, and CANCEL (SMS STOP filtering)

SnapCell will handle the following English-language messages on long codes in accordance with industry standards:

STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT –  will stop customers from receiving SMS messages. In addition, only single-word messages will trigger the block. So, for example, replying “STOP” will stop the customer from receiving SMS messages, but replying “STOP PLEASE” will not. 

START, YES and UNSTOP will opt customers back in to the messages.

HELP and INFO will return a message informing the customer that they can use the above commands to control the delivery of messages.
